Christmas Racing

Good Day Sailors,

Attached, is  a new NOR for Hightide Series with SI’s included,  and for Boxing Day Barrel.  A few small amendments.

Note – we have lost our headline sponsor Budget Marine so this year we will have to run a “budget” event although we are hopeful we will still receive some sponsorship from the local business community.  However, rest assured we plan the event will still be “the best ever”.

We need volunteers for various administrative duties to ensure the regatta runs smoothly.  Entry clerk, protest clerk, scorer, jury members, assistant race officer,  mark laying team, etc.

We sincerely hope members will come forward to fill these roles.  Respond to Nesie with your interest asap.

Zoe Carlton has been beavering away with the publicity and has done a great job in getting details of the regatta out to the region, and Sandy Mair is working on courses to try to make the racing challenging.

Pls. include proposed sail wardrobe with appropriate TCF.   However any rating you submit is subject to scrutiny by the OA before it is accepted as correct

Note also we plan to put on a Saturday social function (still in the early planning days as yet) which is open to all as well as just the sailors so tell your friends to keep this evening free.

Hoping to see you all for the Hightide Series – starting Saturday Dec 13 and Wed.17 with a mini warm up event before the main regatta 20 and 21 December.
