Making sure all the competitors stay fit and healthy during the championships is really important to us.  This year 4 of our sponsors will be helping ensure this happens, as well as making sure we reduce the environmental impact of the event and become a Clean Regatta.

Oasis water have agreed to provide not only all the drinking water for the 2019 event in Antigua,  but also reusable water bottles for all team members to make sure the event does not contribute to single use plastic waste.  All bottles will be filled before the races and coaches will have access to a top up supply.  At the venue, all water will also be provided from water fountains rather than single use bottles.  This really helps us on our bid to make 2019 a Clean Regatta.  https://oasiswater.biz/

Elements Antigua, who specialise in environmentally friendly, natural skin products, are donating an SPF 30 Sports Butter Lip Balm to all participants to help protect and nourish their lips while on the water.  The lip balm is reef friendly, using Non Nano-particle Zinc Oxide which does not damage coral reefs, unlike many other mass produced sun creams.  The Sports Butter is ideal for sailing as not only does it protect the lips from the sun, but it’s water repellent, contains vitamins A,B,D and E, and can be used on other parts of the face such as the cheeks to stop wind and sun damage.

Elements Antigua also run the Powder Room Spa in English Harbour.  Their upper body massage is perfect for tired participants (and spectators!).   The full Elements collection will be on sale during the championship at their shop next to the Antigua Yacht Club.  https://elementsantigua.com/

Yao Dairy will kindly be supplying yogurts to all teams as part of a healthy breakfast every day.  Established in Antigua since 1999, Yao is the island’s premier dairy manufacturer in Antigua and has a delicious range of yoghurts, icecreams and sorbets.  Their yoghurts are made from a live culture streptococcus thermophillus and lactobacillus bulgaricus, a multiactuve culture which aids digestion.  Yao will also be supplying icecreams for some of the evening meals as a sweet treat.  http://www.yaoantigua.com/

Fan juices will be providing 100% pure, natural juices for the competitors to ensure they get a boost of vitamins each morning.  Their delicious fruit juices are also widely available across the island.
