Whoopee! AYC have just heard today that we have won our bid to host the Optimist Worlds 6th-16th July 2019, so brace yourselves for 250 youngsters, plus support teams, from 50-odd countries coming to our shores and waters off English Harbour.
It is a wonderful opportunity to showcase our Yacht Club and Island and for all of us to get involved. As we saw from the OPTINAMS, the quality of the sailing will be of the highest order.
