Dear Parents and Friends of AYC Junior Sailing Programs:
I am contacting you mid-month to update you on news about two important Optimist international events scheduled for the first six months of 2021:
Registration has opened for the 2021 Optimist North American Championship which will be hosted in Riveria Nayarit, Vallarta, Mexico during May 29 – June 5,2021.

Antigua is entitled to send a team of 4 sailors. If anyone wishes to attend this event, please get in touch with me as soon as possible. The first payment deadline is January 25, 2021.
The Notice of Race and Registration details for the 2021 Optimist World Championship , to be hosted in Riva del Garda, Italy during June 30 – July 10, 2021 will be available shortly, probably next week.
The current intent is to send an Antiguan team of 5 sailors, the maximum permitted to any IODA Member. More information will be forthcoming as available.
