Dear Members,
As of Wednesday 23 rd March 2022, and as per Government requirements, the AYC COVID Policy will be:
- Use of masks, especially outside and on the water, is optional. The requirement to wear a mask when entering the office remains compulsory.
- The requirement to sanitise hands and the 6′ social distancing remains the same.
In order to attempt to safeguard the Dinghy Sailing Program, our sailors, and staff, the requirement to be fully vaccinated in order to participate in the Program and/or use the dinghies, remains unchanged.
This is particularly relevant, bearing in mind that some of our youngsters will be traveling/attending clinics abroad and culminating in participating in the Optimist World Championships in Turkey later this year.
We will continue to monitor the World situation and review this policy at regular intervals.
