Antigua Youth sailor excel in Martinique on a four days Regatta competing against high qualified sailors from St Barths, Guadalupe, Martinique, France, Sweden, Norway, Cuba and Córsega. The conditions were from 5 knots to gusts of 27 knots . Very unpredictable shifts and chop waters.

In the beginners Optimist Fleet, Shanoy Malone took a second bringing home a trophy. Well done Shanoy!!! and Maurice Belgrave took a forth.
Maria Eldridge competed in advance fleet against sailors who have been to the worlds champs and placed top 10. She placed 17th out of 36th.
On laser radial Rhone Kirby placed in 4th and Daniel Smith 8th, out of 20 competitors.
It was a great event and we thank the CNSchoelsher for their welcome and for granting the sailors their airfares. Also a big thank you to coach Karl James for support, guidance and patience throughout the event.
