This section is for AYC Members to submit Private Yachts for sale. Submissions from Professional Yacht Brokers will not be accepted. This section is an Antigua Yacht Club service to Members and the Club accepts no responsibility for any sale resulting from this page. Members are invited to submit their yachts for sale with 200 /300 words of description, with contact details, and good quality images of the yacht. Your entry will be uploaded free of charge, however in the event of a successful sale, any contribution you care to make to the AYC Youth Training Programme would be much appreciated. Please be as honest as you can as we do not wish to waste buyer’s time.
“Danae” – Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40 offered for sale by Brian & Pippa Turton
“Danae” has been well maintained and undergoes an annual safety and seaworthiness inspection by the RYA due to her being operated by RYA Sail Training Centre Miramar Sailing School since September 2011.
She has two double cabins and 2 heads with showers. The forward head is en-suite to the master cabin.
She has a very spacious interior with a well-designed ‘U’ shaped galley. Brian & Pippa fitted her with a new mainsail in December 2015 and a new headsail early in 2015. She sports a twin helm with dual instrumentation and has easy access to the aft swim platform.
She’s an extremely comfortable cruising yacht but is also regarded as a well-liked performance yacht.
She’s being sold as we want to upgrade to a 3 cabin version which is more suitable for the number of students we get.
