Student Spotlight: Tiger Tyson
After traveling all over Europe for training purposes, Tiger Tyson, Grade 12, then travelled to Lima, Peru for the Pan-American Games. After an amazing opening ceremony, representing Antigua, Tiger started training on the competition site. It was an extremely challenging place to compete and he ended up finishing 6th place, 3 points behind 5th. He was the youngest kiter by 9 years so he was quite happy with his results. He was also the flag bearer at the closing ceremony. After the games, Tiger travelled to San Francisco, for the North American and Caribbean championships. after a lot of equipment failure, Tiger came out as the under 19 North American and Caribbean champion! Well done Tiger!
