NOTICE OF RACE
AYC MINI DINGHY REGATTA

The Antigua Yacht Club is pleased to host the AYC Mini Dinghy Regatta.
1. RULES
Racing will be governed by:
- The 2025–2028 World Sailing Racing Rules of Sailing
- The ILCA Class Rules
- The Optimist Class Rules
- The Feva Class Rules
- Prescriptions of the Race Committee
- The Sailing Instructions
2. REGATTA WAIVER & ENTRY FEES
Waivers
Regatta waivers must be reviewed and signed by all parents/guardians of sailors 17 years of age and under. Sailors 18 years and older may sign their own waiver.

Entry Fees
- EC$25 — Sailors up to 18 years old
- EC$50 — Sailors 19 years and older
- Sailors enrolled in the Sunday class are exempt from entry fees.
Payment Information
A limited number of boats are available for members. Entry fees must be paid at the office by:
Friday, 29 May 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
Fees may also be paid online via ECAB. Please enquire with the office for details.
Payment secures a spot.
3. SCHEDULE
- 8:30 a.m. — Set-up and briefing
- 9:30 a.m. — Warning signal for the first start (not before)
4. EQUIPMENT
Racing will be sailed in the following classes:
- ILCA 4
- ILCA 6
- ILCA 7
- Optimist
- Feva
Competitors are welcome to bring their own equipment if preferred.
5. COURSE & NUMBER OF RACES
Races will be sailed in Falmouth Harbour using either:
- Trapezoid courses, or
- Windward/Leeward courses
Course details will be provided in the Sailing Instructions.
A maximum of 5 races will be sailed.
6. PRIZES & SCORING
Prizes will be awarded for:
- 1st Place
- 2nd Place
- 3rd Place
If fewer than four boats compete in a class, only 1st Place will be awarded.
Scoring will be in accordance with Appendix A of the Racing Rules of Sailing.
