NOTICE OF RACE
AYC MINI Dinghy Regatta
SUNDAY 15th January, 2017
RULES: Racing will be governed by the 2013-2016 ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing, the Laser Class Rules, the prescription of the race committee, and by the sailing instructions.The Antigua Yacht Club is hosting a Mini Dinghy Regatta.
ENTRY FORMS & FEE:
Please reserve your boats early by emailing events@yachtclub.ag – we have a limited number of boats.
Please pay your entry fees at the Office by Thursday 12th January 2017. Entry Fee – Single-handed $50 and EC$75- double-handed.
SCHEDULE: Set up and briefing will be at 8:30 a.m. Warning for the first start will be at 10a.m on Sunday.
EQUIPMENT: The racing will be sailed in standard and Radial Lasers, Optimist, Zoom 8 & Pico double-handed.
If one has a preference in equipment, you are more than welcome to bring your own.
COURSE & NO. OF RACES: The races will be sailed in Falmouth Harbour and will be Trapezoid or Windward/Leeward. The course will be given in the sailing instructions. There will be a maximum of 5 races with one discard.
PRIZES & SCORING: Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Scoring will be in accordance with Appendix A.
