1st ANNUAL ANTIGUA optimist OPEN
Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th March, 2017
The Antigua Yacht Club is hosting the first Annual Antigua Optimist Open.
RULES: Racing will be governed by the 2017-2020 ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing, the Optimist Class Rules, the prescription of the race committee, and by the sailing instructions.
ENTRY FORMS & FEE:
Entry forms can be collected at the Yacht Club’s Office, the Sailing Centre or you can visit the website at www.antiguayachtclub.com. The Entry Fee is US$50/EC$135.00 (includes lunch on Saturday)
Payment should be submitted by 4pm Wednesday 22nd March 2017.
Members: We have a limited amount of Optimist available, if you would like to enter, please hand in your entry form with entry fee to reserve your Optimist
EQUIPMENT: Non-members are asked to bring their own Optimist or they can charter a boat for US$50 in addition to the entry fee.
If one has a preference in equipment, you are more than welcome to bring your own.
COURSE & NO. OF RACES: The races will be sailed in Falmouth Harbour and will be an Olympic Triangle or Windward/Leeward. The course will be given in the sailing instructions. There will be a maximum of 8 races with one discard.
PRIZES & SCORING: Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
Scoring will be in accordance with Appendix A.
